Greg Cabrera, MD
Dr. Greg Cabrera is originally from Miami, Florida where he graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. He practiced as a pediatric Registered Nurse at Jackson Memorial Hospital for four years prior to attending the University of South Florida College of Medicine. He was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and earned the "Doctor's Doctor Award". Dr. Cabrera completed his pediatric residency at the Emory University School of Medicine. He was an Associate Chief Resident from 1997-1998. He won the Senior Resident of the Year award and the Residency Research Award in 1998.
On July 13, 1998 Dr. Cabrera opened North Point Pediatrics. He is a board-certified pediatrician and a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics. He has served on the Board of Directors of The Children's Healthcare Network and The Physicians Alliance Board.
Dr. Cabrera is an Assistant Professor for the Emory University School of Medicine and an Associate Professor for Morehouse School of Medicine and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Cabrera started an annual 5K race called Jog for a Cause in 2004 to raise money for children's cancer charities as well as directly helping families who have children undergoing cancer treatment. Over the years, Jog for a cause has raised over $300,000.
Dr. Cabrera resides in Milton with his wife and two children.
