Kelsey Abbott, CPNP, IBCLC
Kelsey grew up near Austin, TX. She was inspired by the compassion of the nursing profession while working with a variety of medical teams caring for her father with ALS. She attended nursing school at Emory University where she was also a member of the cross country and track teams. Kelsey worked as the lead RN in the newborn nursery at Piedmont Hospital before pursuing her nurse practitioner degree. She graduated from Duke University with a Master of Science in Nursing, specializing in Pediatric Primary Care. She is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner and lactation consultant with special interests in infant nutrition, childhood development, mental health, and ADHD management. Kelsey has been working in a pediatric practice for the past 2 years.
Kelsey will be moving to Alpharetta with her husband, dog, and cat. She is an active member of the Georgia equestrian community with a passion for retired racehorses - she is currently retraining her horse for dressage and eventing.
